Volunteer Opportunities
- Tutors: Our classrooms welcome volunteers every day of the week. Tutors help students with lessons, homework, or other activities outlined by the teachers. We have many opportunities from PK through 12 in every subject.
- Choir Supervisor: Wednesday afternoons from 1:15 to 2:20, we need an adult in the choir room to supervise students as they practice choir.
- Library: Our libraries in both locations are run totally by volunteers. That means we need help daily with many different activities.
- Grading Papers: Many of our volunteers do not have an opportunity to come into the school to help out during the daytime. However, you may arrange with a teacher to grade papers at home and bring them back to school on a designated date.
- Sports: There are many opportunities for adult volunteers to help out with sports for both middle school and high school.
- Cleaning and general maintenance: There are plenty of jobs throughout the year with which we need help—from painting to cleaning and everything in between.
MENTORING
Outside of teachers, many of our high school students lack a positive role model. We began the mentoring program in an effort to change that trend. Would you be interested in coming alongside one of our students to provide an example and support in a variety of areas? Explore the frequently asked questions (36.8 kb) about the program or contact us if you have questions that are not answered. In order to become a mentor, please fill out and return the application form.
